Suzie Hager-Bellesis MDiv, is a church musician, specializing in the violin, piano, and guitar.
They received a Masters in Divinity and a Graduate Certificate in Urban Ministry at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, and Bachelors in Music Education with a concentration in the Violin at Gordon College.
Currently they are the Music Coordinator at the Open Door Presbyterian Church in Pittsburgh. Suzie is also seeking ordination in the United Church of Christ.
To explore the innovative changes and strong sense of ecclesial tradition in church music and other sacred music, we will be exploring matters dating back from the 4th Century to the Contemporary struggles we see today. We will explore together theology within various church traditions, various styles of music, and matters in conflict and resolution with church disputes. Join me as we travel through time to see music, see the church, see history, and see Traditions and Innovations.
